Sunflower Sister Blog

My friend Sydney has her own blog entitled "Sunflower Sister" in which she journals about health + wellness, travelling, arts + culture, and style. Over the years as she started to develop a serious following on Instagram she told me that she was going to start a blog so she could journal her experiences and I was so excited to read all about it. On her blog site, Syd discusses her own personal stories and reviews in depth with posts ranging anywhere from skincare brands/routines, how to plan an elopement, and even some information on which small businesses to support. I enjoy reading her blog so much, especially in her posts where she speaks on women's health and empowerment- emphasizing period support, miscarriages, and post natal products. Syd's website encourages light reading (with longer context) compared to media sharing networks like Instagram whereby most users do not include journal entries attached to their posts.

Sydney has become quite the social media influencer over the past few years and her blog provides an opportunity for her to connect with her followers and close friends. I enjoy her blog as I find she has quality content and has really helped me try some new products that I wouldn't have ever come across (her discount codes also help haha) Like me, Syd is super against MLM's and pyramid schemes so she really does her research when she pairs up with a new company and recommends their products. Most of the time they are Canadian, cruelty free, and ethically sourced. You can subscribe to her blog so whenever she posts a new entry you will be notified via email, she also does this with her instagram following on her stories. "Sunflower Sister" is a great little site to browse on within the internet universe and I always look forward to her posts and seeing which new book to give a read or product to try out. If any of you are curious you can find the link to her blog below. Happy reading 💗
